Veterinarian Bill Reimbursement Coverage
Get reimbursed if you take a pet you’re working with to the vet while on the clock. From 2021 – 2023, Veterinarian Reimbursement covered 25% of total claims. Without this coverage, the claims likely would have been denied.
Benefits Of Veterinarian Reimbursement Coverage From PCI
At Pet Care Insurance, we understand that unexpected accidents or illnesses can happen to pets under your care. That’s why we offer Vet Bill Reimbursement as part of our comprehensive pet care insurance coverage. With Vet Bill Reimbursement, you can have peace of mind knowing that medical expenses for a client’s pet in your care, custody, or control are covered.
– Protection for out-of-pocket veterinarian costs while on the job.
– Coverage included in base policy with an optional limit increase.
– Coverage kicks in after a $250 deductible per occurrence, but works regardless of fault.
Note: This coverage protects pet professionals when they visit veterinarians. It doesn’t protect practicing veterinarians.
Why Get Insurance? Accidents Can Cost You.
But they don’t have to. PCI covers you with Veterinarian Reimbursement when pets get injured or sick under your care. We protect you while you focus on the pets. Get covered instantly.
How Does Vet Bill Reimbursement Work?
Vet Bill Reimbursement covers medical expenses incurred while providing pet care services. Let’s say you’re taking a client’s dog for a walk, and she falls ill due to something she ate. If you need to rush her to the veterinarian and the resulting medical bills amount to $700, you would pay the vet directly. Afterward, you can file a claim with PCI, and our policy will reimburse you for the eligible expenses minus the applicable deductible.
What Expenses Are Covered?
This coverage is for when you’re with the pet. If a pet requires medical attention after you finish with your services, you’d need Pet Protection Coverage (Animal Bailee). We offer this coverage in your base policy too.
Are There Any Exclusions or Limitations to Vet Bill Reimbursement Coverage?
Is Veterinarian Reimbursement Included in Your PCI Policy?
Absolutely! At Pet Care Insurance, we prioritize the well-being of your business and the pets in your care. That’s why we include Veterinarian Reimbursement as part of our standard policy. The coverage provides a yearly limit of $2,500 to help with unexpected out-of-pocket expenses when you need to seek veterinary care for a pet while on the job.
If you feel you need more coverage, we also offer a higher limit of $5,000 yearly coverage for only $3.99 a month. It’s important to look for Veterinarian Reimbursement coverage when deciding on your insurance options.
